Very good service food was great with many options.

Food was better than expected only reason I didnt give it a 5 star rate is there were no booths but service was awesome and the live entertainment

Great salsa but wasn't a huge fan of the chips. They were kind of dry and not that great. Ordered the shrimp fajitas and was very pleased by the large size of the shrimp and the fresh quality. We sat on the roof top and we're constantly swatting away flies 🙁. The fajitas were drowned in an oily chipotle sauce and I just wish they dialed back on the oil. However, my husband loved the sauce and was very pleased. We also ordered margaritas that really snuck up on us. The taste was really lacking though... It was very artificial tasting.

Tasty food, colorful outdoor patio, friendly service, and reasonable prices. It was a great place to stop for dinner before we continued ambling through downtown Galena.

Nicest Mexican Restaurant I've Eaten at in a Long TimeThe food was great, and the service very fast and friendly. We ate on the deck and found the surroundings to be nice. The inside was very charming.This is in the historic district, so parking is limited. There are stairs to navigate if you are handicapped.I plan to come back for more!😀

The service, food and mageritas was excellent, I cannot say well enough coming from someone near Chicago.

We went on a Thursday night, near closing time. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was wonderful. Live music and great Mexican food. Nice choice of cocktails, beer, and some wines. Very nice atmosphere and great people. Enjoy :-)

Good service, eh food, and nice outdoor patio seating. The margaritas were kinda gross. Nean green and not a natural fruit anywhere in site.Was particularly disappointed in the pork pastor. It was finely ground mush. They have better pastor at Sam's club... and that isn't saying much.

We were here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The place was rather empty however staff was friendly and service was good. I started with a mango margarita which was well made and very tasty. For lunch I had one of the combo platters. The food was fresh and well made. Their homemade pico and homemade hot sauce was also very good. Would recommend this place.

Great Mexican Food and a Nice Patio! My wife and I wandered down here on a nice August evening and it was a really nice meal. The patio was open and shaded from the late day sun which was perfect. There was a man playing and singing tunes on his keyboard they created a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The service was good and the food was also very good. I had the pork and my wife had enchiladas and they were both very good. If you are in the mood for Mexican and want a nice atmosphere to go with it, this is the place.

Cute little place in Galena. Staff was great, food was nicely prepared. Had the shrimp enchiladas. The food was nice and hot and tasted amazing! The shrimp was not fishy at all. Loved the decor both inside and out.

Food was good and prices were fair, drink specials were really good along with the service. The staff did a great job!

Today was my first visit and it quickly became one of my favorite Galena Restaurants. The food was really good, and thevservuce was great.

First time here and won't be the last even living 40+ minutes away! Such amazing food and service!! Thank you 😊

Food was great, service was fast and the live music was the cherry on top. I have already suggested this place to all my Mexican food loving friends. The prices were fair, especially for a tourist town. Will be going back my next time in Galena.

The food was fine but the waitress told my girlfriend she couldn't order something that was on the menu because they don't let you get one taco... So then she comes out with 4 tacos and they charged us an extra 9 dollars for food we didn't even want. Don't put things on your menu just to scam people into spending nearly 20 dollars.

My husband and I were really happy with our first experience, dining at Campeche. This was the first place we've eaten AT, since all the Covid-19 stuff started in March of 2020. We were hesitant, but once we saw all the nice outdoor seating, and noticed that the employees were all wearing masks, we decided to give them a try. We had a table in the shade (it was a hot day), and enjoyed the breeze, delicious food, social distancing from other customers, and great service.The taco salad was huge, and easily could have feed two people. My husband enjoyed the tacos. We will be back, for sure.

If I can give this restaurant no star I would. We had book our reservation online as told by them and received confirmation message two days before we were in Galena. When we showed up for our reservation the manager Eric was extremely rude and said I had called you earlier today and since you didn’t answer I canceled your reservation and there is nothing we can do but to wait for atleast 30 mins to see if they will have space. We had another tour reservation after dinner and this I explained to him and his response was I can’t do anything in a very rude manner. When I asked him for his name he just walked away and said don’t worry about it and shook his head. We ended up eating at Fried Green Tomato where the service and food was excellent. Terrible experience and would never recommend or go to Campeche restaurant.

Great food. There are alot of restaurants in downtown Galena . Alot have not so good food. This is one of the places that has outstanding food and the service is great also.

Great Mexican food, but expensive. Almost $50 for two guests with an appetizer.
